As many of you are aware, I've been frogmarched into adopting a new comments system, and paying for it too.
In some ways the system is better--you can post links, italicize and so on without having to use html tags, for example--but in many others it is substandard. Here are two glaring problems:
Email addresses of visitors no longer appear. That makes it difficult to distinguish among different visitors with the same handles. (Lee, are you the Lee from Calgary?)
The "reply" feature is confusing and useless. If you reply directly to another comment rather than simply posting your comment on a thread, it will appear somewhere in the body of the thread instead of at the top. This makes it really easy to miss.
I do like to read your comments. So could you please avoid "reply" and simply post them?
