
The aflockalypse has come to Canada.
In tiny Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, it has been raining pigeons for the past three weeks.
Various authorities try to calm us, but methinks they do protest too much. A McGill wildlife biologist, for example, doesn’t expect much to come of lab tests:
“It’s not abnormal to have bird flocks die in large numbers,” he said.
“I can tell you right now it isn’t a death ray from an alien space ship, It’s not a biblical prophecy coming true. It’s none of those things at all.”
