In which David Harvey explains why we should look beyond capitalism if we want to avoid the crises and human misery that are its defining characteristics.

Posting this vid may mollify some of my friends who were aghast when I put up a right-wing critique of quantitative easing. Harvey makes the point succinctly: the catastrophes of capitalism that we are presently witnessing aren’t a bug, but a feature.
