Here’s an unfinished cautionary tale that has it all: misogyny, Islamophobia, abuse of authority, paranoia, bone-headed stupidity and a clear victim.

A young Muslim woman wanted to be a chiropractor, and was foolish enough to take the University of Bridgeport’s motto seriously. She was repeatedly sexually harassed, but her university dean just shrugged when she complained.

Then she was reported to the FBI as a “terrorist” by her harasser.

And expelled.

She’s suing, which, with luck and a little justice, will provide both a moral and a happy ending. Sometimes opening doors requires a roundhouse kick.
