On his desk, Harper has had the results of another probe, by federal Lobbying Commissioner Karen Shepherd, since December 12. A third investigation, by the biddable Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson was, we are informed, “quietly suspended in November pending the outcome of an RCMP probe into Carson’s affairs.”

RCMP probe? What probe? Carson who?
