The Harper government’s new political police force appears to be the Canada Revenue Agency.

The last Harper budget allocated money for the enforcement of charitable rules. Apparently that now includes even mild criticism of the Conservative government.

But I’m sure Ezra Levant and his merry band will be standing up for the Mennonites. Any time now.

UPDATE: Well, in fairness, some of them are. Asking the right questions, too: kudos. But not all are on board by any means. The colossal gall and hypocrisy of Michael Coren, a militant Catholic whose tax-exempt church regularly preaches politics from the pulpit and elsewhere (name Fred Henry ring a bell?), is hard to surpass.
