Recipe for disaster?

Do NOT try serving this one publicly in BC or Quebec.

Original recipe makes 8 servings

1 (16 ounce) package dry penne pasta
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

In small saucepan, saute garlic in a small amount of oil. Combine garlic, olive oil, and pasta in a bowl. Mix in parmesan cheese.

If you must, you can enjoy this dish in the privacy of your own home. After all, it’s a free country.

[H/t Sophie Durocher]

UPDATE: (February 21) Pasta may now be served as pasta in Quebec Italian restaurants. Vive les pâtes libres, or something.
