The Toronto District School Board has removed a lesson plan from its website that played down the more controversial aspects of the Black Panthers, a U.S. black revolutionary group founded in the 1960s.
The move, made early Friday, comes after the lesson plan was discovered by right-wing bloggers. [emphasis added]
ADDENDUM: I note with some interest that the heavy hitters who went after a Carleton student for tearing down a paper “free speech wall” remain utterly silent when right-wing yahoos effectively tear down a digital one.
