Susan Delacourt puts it best: “Political parties have enemies. Govts don’t, unless they’re banana republics.”

But in fairness to Stephen Harper, he’s not the first Canadian PM to compile lists of enemies, real or imagined.

I, for one, would be devastated to learn that I am not on the current list. It’s a progressives’ honour roll, it seems to me. Obviously, if we’re omitted, we’re just not working hard enough.
