Gazan civilians threatened with starvation

| Disqus Comments
Once again, Israel engages in collective punishment, a war crime under Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Israel conducted a cross-border raid into Gaza at the beginning of this month, and killed six Hamas militants. That wasn't a violation of the current ceasefire, we are asked to believe. But when Hamas retaliated with rockets, once again they were branded the aggressor. And once again, Gazan civilians are facing serious privation. The latest reports indicate that a limited amount of aid has been permitted across the border, in what has been likened to "drip-feeding."

Business as usual in the Middle East. And no criticism of Israel to be found in the Western media--although some has appeared in the Israeli media. Not that any journalists have actually been permitted to enter Gaza.

UPDATE: (November 18) The Dust My Broom crowd, not content with promoting sexual assault to sort out their political opponents, is all over me on this one, joined by another blogger who appears to think that the "babies of terrorists" are fair game.
