The defaming Fourniers, the folks who ran Free Dominion (now wiped from the Internet) have just lost another court case. This time it was a pointless appeal against a judgement in favour of anti-racist activist Richard Warman last year—read all about that here. The Fourniers didn’t even bother to challenge the jury’s finding that they had defamed Warman, but appealed against the (substantial) costs and a permanent injunction binding them never to defame Warman again.
The judges were unanimously unimpressed. Add another $23K to the bill.
Now, Connie and Mark, please: jump back into your clown car and drive it full-tilt boogie into the brick wall known as the Supreme Court of Canada. I’m looking forward to another popcorn evening.
